Welcoming Back Wine Lovers

As we head into the Summer of 2022, after two years of being at home, people are getting out and experiencing our country’s spectacular wine regions. And this time, it’s not a virtual tasting on Zoom, it’s in person! This is an incredibly exciting time for our clients. They have been looking forward to welcoming back wine lovers from all over the globe.

The return of in-person visitors has presented many challenges for our industry in regard to staffing. Our hospitality clients are desperate for everything from front desk hosts, to tasting room associates, and managers, you name it, the jobs are out there. Moreover, with tourism coming back, we are seeing the need for direct-to-consumer candidates at its highest point since pre-pandemic. Our clients are also reevaluating their staffing needs and workforce overall. Many are taking a much more strategic approach to full-time and seasonal staffing.

One of the many things we do at Intertwine, free of charge, is workforce planning with our clients. We do this whether we are engaged in a search or not. Workforce planning is one of the most critical things you can do as a leader to strategically and responsibly move your organization forward.
